Taylor Wega is a multidisciplinary designer & illustrator located in San Francisco.
She brings concepts to life with imaginative colors, playful compositions, & thoughtful typography.  
November 2019 to June 2020, she was a designer on the Creative Studio team at California Academy of Sciences. She was one of the 105 employees laid off due to Covid-19. During her time there, she worked on impactful projects that will delight and educate those who visit the Academy for many years to come. She designed interactive activities for guests of all ages such as a Penguin Observation chart, Find-a-Fish Philippine Reef Slideshow, Sea Slug Survival Board Game, a Rainforest Scavenger Hunt, and so much more.
Prior to that, She worked at Rainier Industries, San Francisco Center for the Book, and TBD* at CCA. She began freelancing in 2018 and worked with clients such as public art planner Barbara Goldstein, Bookarts Roadshow, Messiah Lutheran Church, and CAD Homes LLC.
Taylor graduated with distinction from California College of the Arts (CCA) in 2018 with a BFA in Graphic Design. 
In her free time, she enjoys painting, jogging through Golden Gate Park, making macrame plant holders, and perfecting her chocolate chip cookie recipe. She is passionate about being involved in her local community and she is constantly learning and working on designing for lasting social and environmental change.
